What is Copperstrait, and what comes with every server?

Copperstrait rents dedicated servers in Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo, paid in crypto with no KYC: no ID, no selfie, no documents. Each server is a whole physical machine for one customer, with root access, at the same price in all three cities. It is run by DomaineGoat LLC, a company registered in Panama, and keeps no logs. Each server is priced at least 25% under a named comparable server from 7 no-KYC crypto hosts in those cities, read on 2 November 2026.

  • No KYC

No KYC: you upload no ID, no selfie and no documents, and give no card or phone number.

  • A machine nobody shares

The processor, memory and disks are reserved for your machine; no neighbour shares them.

  • A Panamanian operator

Copperstrait is operated by DomaineGoat LLC, incorporated in Panama and answerable to Panamanian law only. The datacenter in each city is bound by the law of the place it stands in.

  • No logs

We keep no logs: no record of connections or traffic and no IP address of a visitor or customer, on the website, in the dashboard or on any server.

  • Lost days come back

If we cannot deliver a server, or it fails and support cannot restore it, the days it was out of service are put back on your balance. Balances never expire. Top-ups are not paid out unless the law requires it; whatever was paid only to reach the minimum top-up can be returned on request within 30 days of payment, in USDT or USDC, if still unspent.

  • People, not a bot

A person answers support emails within 12 hours, seven days a week, including help with SSH keys, RAID, reinstalls and firewall rules.

What do buyers ask before renting a server in Asia?

Which city should I choose: Hong Kong, Singapore or Tokyo?

Choose the port closest to most of your users, since the price is identical. We publish no latency or speed figures of our own: we have not measured them. Test from where your users are once the server is yours. Published measurements between the three cities are gathered in What is the latency between Singapore, Hong Kong and Tokyo? For a wider view by region, read What is the best server location for users across Asia? In our survey, Singapore had the most bare-metal sellers (26), ahead of Japan (22) and Hong Kong (20).

Do you sell China-optimised (CN2) routes?

No. Every server has a 1 Gbit/s port with a monthly traffic allowance (Strait 16 20 TB, Strait 32 20 TB, Strait 32F 30 TB), one dedicated IPv4 address and an IPv6 /64; going past the allowance never triggers an automatic bill. No China-optimised route (CN2) is sold. We also do not serve residents or companies of mainland China. In our survey, 7 of the 33 Asian hosts sold such routes. The term, and who actually needs it, is explained in What is CN2 GIA, and do I need it on a Hong Kong server?

Which cryptocurrencies can I pay with?

BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC, topped up from $25. Monero is not on the list, nor is the Lightning Network. Every incoming payment is screened against public sanctions lists of blockchain addresses; payments from a listed address are not credited. How other Asian hosts compare, coin by coin, is on Which dedicated server hosts in Asia accept Bitcoin or USDT?

When is the machine handed over?

Someone on the team sets the machine up once your payment is confirmed, within 72 hours, so delivery is not instant; the dashboard tracks it until the IP address shows. Many hosts quote less: the ones we surveyed stated a median of 48 hours, and anything from 3 minutes to 10 business days. In exchange, a named order goes to a person, and support answers by email.

Can I install Windows or use a remote console?

No to both. Install Debian, Ubuntu, AlmaLinux or Rocky Linux, or Proxmox VE to split the machine into your own virtual servers. Windows is not offered. No IPMI or KVM-over-IP console is given to customers; the team runs the reboots and reinstalls you request in the dashboard. Use the dashboard to ask for a reboot, a reinstall or a cancellation, and the team carries it out; a reinstall clears every disk. Anything else on the machine is yours to set up as root.

Is it cheaper to rent for a year?

Yes. Rent a server for 30 days, 3 months (91 days, 10% off), 6 months (182 days, 20% off) or 12 months (365 days, 30% off): a longer term is the 30-day price times 3, 6 or 12, less the discount, rounded down to the cent (Strait 16: $386.77 for 3 months, $687.60 for 6, $1,203.30 for 12). A renewal keeps your term and starting price unless you pick another term for the next renewal in the dashboard. Strait 32 for twelve months costs $2,992.50, against $356.25 for each 30-day period. The discount is the same in every city.
